Vincent Misser

Vincent trained in Belgium, at St Luc de Tournai’s institute as a graphic designer, then studied Fine Arts in Lille.
In 1977, he presented his first collective exhibition in Dunkerque, and then exhibited at the Weeppe gallery.

In 1984, he exhibited in the Salon “Tendances Contemporaines Régionales”, Lille and also later in several cities of northern France.
From 1987 to 2001, he worked in Angouleme, Brussels, then in Paris for a number of television series as designer of animated films and Set Designer for 2 feature films: Taxandria from Raoul Servais and Corto Maltese from Pascal Morelli. He subsequently participated in several artist collectives in the Paris area.

In 1998 and 1999, he exhibited in Japan, including the Museum of modern art in Osaka, then in Nagoya and Toyama.
Vincent Misser has lived in Arles since 2003, where he has taken part in several exhibitions and illustrated a number of limited edition publications.
