Stage 55 – the road of the Col Grand Saint Bernard has officially reopened.
The benefit is that if/when it snows the road will be cleared. Out of choice I would not walk the road but it is a vital “out” if the walking route is not passable or if visibility deteriorates. www.vs.ch
