The signposts for the route now point straight ahead on the road at this point and trace a loop around Lago Pistono rejoining the “Official Route” at 18.0 km. The loop is described as very pleasant but will add 2 km to the stage. If you wish to remain on the “Official Route” follow the guide instructions carefully.
