Unsafe bridge between Vercelli and Palestro

A wooden bridge over the Cavo Crocettone on the approach to Palestro has been closed to traffic. Some walkers have continued to cross but the provincial administration advises taking the train from Vercelli to Palestro. The use of the SP596 is not advised as it is heavily trafficked and dangerous for pedestrians
